Come and enjoy Cape Girardeau's diverse art scene. Many of Cape Girardeau's art galleries are located in the historic Old Town Cape riverfront district. Visitors can easily stroll through downtown and visit most of these wonderful galleries. Be sure to include a tour through Cape Girardeau's Art Galleries on your next visit and be prepared to see wonderful and unique art.

 

The Arts Council presents more than 130 activities and events annually including two annual arts and crafts festivals, children's art festival, three multi-state/nationally juried shows, art exhibitions in three galleries vetting 50-100 artists or more each month, as well as special events for young and old such as concerts, poetry competitions, events for those with special needs and community outreach. Serving 11 counties from its headquarters at #32 N. Main near the fabulous Riverwall Murals in Cape Girardeau, the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is the oldest in the state of Missouri.
