All-Nashville Roadshow

Bringing Live Country Music to Cape Girardeau

Looking for the best live music in Cape Girardeau this summer? Mark your calendar. The All-Nashville Roadshow rolls into town on Friday, June 5, 2026, bringing the heart of “Music City” to the A.C. Brase Arena grandstand lawn for one unforgettable night of live country music under the stars.

This touring outdoor concert series features rising Nashville artists, authentic Southern food, and craft beer, all served up festival-style on an open-air lawn. It’s the closest you can get to a Nashville writers’ round without the seven-hour round-trip drive, and it’s happening right here in Cape Girardeau.

Meet the Lineup

This year’s Cape Girardeau stop features a strong roster of rising Nashville talent, plus a comedian host to keep the energy rolling between sets.

  • Charlie Argo (Headliner): Headlining the night is Nashville-based singer-songwriter Charlie Argo, whose blend of Americana storytelling and soulful vocals has earned him a reputation as one of Music City’s rising stars. His EP In the Name of Love features collaborations with top-tier Nashville musicians like Joey Landreth and Billy Justineau, and his standout single “Tennessee Will” was co-written with hitmakers Adam Hood and Pat McLaughlin. Charlie takes the stage with his full band for a high-energy set that captures the spirit of Nashville live.
  • Meagan Allen: Meagan Allen picked up a fiddle at four and never put it down. The Nashville-based songwriter has landed on the Grammy Long List, won NSAI’s 25th anniversary song contest, topped the Folk category in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and been featured in American Songwriter. Expect storytelling that blends nostalgia with fresh sounds, all anchored by the fiddle work that started it all.
  • Preston James: Signed to King Pen Music/Warner Chappell, Preston James is part of a new generation keeping country music grounded in real stories and Southern roots. His debut EP White Trash From Wayback leans into plainspoken lyrics and lived-in grit, balancing heart, swagger, and sincerity. If you love country music that means every word, Preston’s your guy.
  • Travis Stevenson (Host): Comedian Travis Stevenson hosts the evening, bringing the kind of fast-paced, Appalachian-rooted comedy that’s earned him a serious live and online following. Expect sharp observations, small-town stories, and a delivery built to keep the crowd laughing from start to finish.
