March Madness at Shawnee Park Center

Think you’ve got game? Show off your basketball skills at the March Madness Hot Shot and Free Throw Contest! Open to children ages 12 and under, this free event is sure to bring joy and healthy competition. For more information, contact Dionne at dhoffmeister@cityofcape.org.
ZZ Top – The Elevation Tour at the Show Me Center
April 11 | 7:30pm – 10:30pm
Get ready to rock with ZZ Top at the Show Me Center! For the first time in 25 years, the legendary Texas trio will bring their iconic blend of blues and rock to Southeast Missouri. Don’t miss this electrifying night featuring hits like “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs.” Tickets are available here or at the Show Me Center Box Office.
American Battlefield Trust Park Day at Fort D State Historic Site
April 12 | 9am – 3pm
Roll up your sleeves and give back to the community! Join local volunteers for spring cleaning at the historic Fort D grounds as part of the American Battlefield Trust Park Day. The site’s blockhouse will also be open for exploration.
Egg Dive at Jefferson Community Center
April 12 | 10am – 12pm
Celebrate Easter with a splash! Join us for an exciting Egg Dive at Jefferson Pool. Kids will hunt for numbered eggs in the pool, redeem their finds for candy and prizes, and even snap a photo with the Easter Bunny! It’s family fun at its best. Cost is $5/child. Movie Night at Jefferson Community Center
April 17 | 6pm – 9pm
What’s better than movie night? Watching it while floating in a pool! Grab a tube (provided) and enjoy a unique movie experience at Jefferson Pool. Snacks will be available at the concession stand. Cost is $5/person. Register here.
April Showers at Shawnee Park Center
April 26 | 12pm – 2pm
Bring out your creative side at April Showers, a free arts-and-crafts event perfect for all ages. Come ready to craft, create, and have a great time — free and no registration is required!
